Who we are
Atelier Katja ("we", "us") is operated by Katja Althoff, a pastry chef based in France. This website, atelierkatja.com, sells digital baking guides (eBooks). For any privacy-related question, contact us at [email protected].
What data we collect
Contact form. When you send a partnership inquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), and your message. This information is sent to us by email so we can respond to you. It is not stored in a database on this website.
Purchases. eBook purchases are processed entirely by Hotmart, our payment and delivery platform. We never see or store your payment details. Hotmart processes your data according to its own privacy policy.
Technical data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to deliver and secure the website.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, traffic sources, approximate location). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
- We do not run advertising trackers on this website.
- We do not send marketing emails unless you have explicitly opted in.
Third-party services
This website uses Google Fonts (font delivery), Google Analytics (audience measurement), Cloudflare (hosting and security), Resend (transactional email for the contact form), and Hotmart (checkout and eBook delivery). Each provider may process limited technical data as part of providing its service.
How long we keep your data
Contact form messages are kept in our email inbox for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any follow-up. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
